Pour a small amount of your foundation into your palm. Remember to underestimate what you need instead of being wasteful, because you can always pour out more. Mix it slightly, then apply stripes of it on your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin as shown. If you don't have a foundation brush or sponge, you can use your fingers.

Spread out the foundation using your brush, sponge or fingers, starting from your forehead and work your way down and covering your lips and neck. Pay attention to the corners of your eyes and lips, the sides of your nostrils and your ears (if they will be showing). Check that everything is even and there are no streaks or patches.

Apply the white powder with your powder puff over the foundation evenly, using a patting motion instead of swiping so that you dont end up wiping off the foundation. Remember to powder your neck!

Gently dust off any excess powder off your face with the powder brush, then put some extra powder on your cheeks right under your eyes with your puff. This acts as a catcher for any eyeshadow that might fall on your face, and you can simply dust it off after you are done with applying all your eye makeup.
