Crease and Shadow
NOTE: The following crease-creation step is designed for Asian features with no significant crease in the eyelids. If you are Caucasian or have a really deep crease, you might have to modify it according to your needs. I don't have a model to try that out, so it is going to be trial-and-error for you. Sorry about that. :p

Keeping your eyes open, draw a line about a quarter to a third of an inch above your black eyeline with your blue pencil. Study your Mana reference photo carefully and try to imitate the shape he has. Usually it looks fine if you draw it parallel to your black line, and dipping it slightly downwards towards the outer corner. Do not join the blue and black lines though, at least not yet!

Pick up some blue eyeshadow with a clean brush (not the one you just used for the black!), tap to remove excess, and carefully shade above the blue line you just drew. Go out of the outer end of the line a little bit, then bring it back in and join the shadow to the black line, as shown in the photo. This is to imitate the "crease" usually seen on deep-set Caucasian eyes. Blend the shadow upwards so it fades towards your eyebrows and towards your temples a bit. Put a bit of the blue eyeshadow on the outer half of your lower black eyeline as well.

Here is a view from the side, it should look like you have blue pointy "C"s on your eyelids. I know this step is confusing, so study your reference photos carefully.

If you have white eyeshadow, put some on the empty space between the blue and black line. This makes the area pop out more, and also help get rid of any stray blue eyeshadow that might have fallen down. If you drew the black lower eyeline a bit away from your lashline, carefully put a bit of white shadow between your lower lashline and the black line as well. Gently pull down your eyelids a bit to help you get into that area.

You now have completed one of the hardest steps in this tutorial! Give yourself a round of applause, wash your hands if you like, and let's move on.
